The goal
What we found
An electrician 35km away in the Perth CBD is taking your Hills work off a template page
What it costs: Someone in Mundaring with a dead hot water system searches "electrician mundaring" and gets a business in the Perth CBD. You're the local, and you're losing that job to a page written by someone who's probably never driven up the hill.
The fix: Build 9 real town pages, one per Hills town, with real local content only a Hills business could write. No local competitor has these pages.
Your phone number can't be tapped, on a site advertising 24 hour availability
What it costs: Someone in Chidlow with no power at 9pm can't tap the number, has to memorise it and dial manually, or fill in a form that doesn't even ask for their phone number.
The fix: Make the number a real tap-to-call link and add a phone and suburb field to the form. Ten minutes.
42 years in the Hills, and 12 Google reviews
What it costs: Forty two years in one community means thousands of satisfied customers. Twelve of them have left a review, and the review count is the one thing a new customer can actually see.
The fix: Text a review link to every customer before you drive away from the job. Going from 12 to 60 would put you clearly ahead of every local competitor in the Hills.
Your "clients trust us" section is your ABN and licence number jammed together with no spaces
What it costs: A visitor scrolls to a heading promising they can trust you and finds a string of digits, while the strongest credential on the whole site sits where nobody will read it.
The fix: Put the government departments in that section properly labelled, alongside your licence and ABN written out readably.
The maths
One fix, done for you
Hey, thanks for taking a look at the audit.
I only spent about half an hour on your digital presence and found these four things. They're not the biggest issues out there, but they all add up to how you rank and how you show up online.
If you want to go deeper, I'd love to take a proper look at your paid ads, specifically Google and Meta, and hear a bit about your business and where you want to take it, whether there's a revenue number you're chasing. We specialise in Perth service businesses, tradies and schools included.
If any of this is worth a conversation, send me a message below and I'll give you a call.
Thanks,
Chris
